Confusion


After the never-ending winter we had, Dave and I joked often that Simon probably thinks it’s just winter all of the time here. This morning, he was running to go outside. I asked him where he was going and he replied, “Outide, pay in no!” (Outside, play in snow!). After a couple of days of beautiful warm weather, there is no more snow here. Poor child thinks that’s how you say that you’re going outside, “Play in the snow!”

When he sees people in shorts or tank tops, he yells, “Nakey!!!!” I’m thinking this afternoon he’ll sport his first pair of shorts, as it’s supposed to reach 80 degrees (Fahrenheit) today. We’ll see what he thinks when his little legs are nakey too.
